Fantasy Fest :: Key West, Florida
Halloween parties are great, but we can guarantee you have never been to a Halloween party like this. Fantasy Fest, held the last 10 days of October every year in Key West, Florida is a fiesta like no other. Started in 1979, every year Fantasy Fest attracts over 100,000 visitors from all over the world. Typically October is a slow month in Florida for tourists, and this event was started as a way to boost the local economy while having a little fun at the same time. Although some of the events are family friendly, a good majority of the goings on are definitely adults only!

The Winter Music Conference is a week-long celebration of electronic dance music. The event is held every March since the mid 1980s and is aimed at professionals such as artists, DJs, record label representatives, producers, promoters, radio and the media. Founded in 1985, the first Winter Music Conference was held at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott in February 1986 with 80 dance music insiders attending the Florida event.

La Fiesta de San Fermín (The Festival of Saint Fermin), held every year from July 6-14, began in 1591 when the San Fermin festival, the town fair of Pamplona, Spain and a bull fighting celebration were combined into one large festival. The bishop, Saint Fermin, traveled across the lands converting people to Christianity. Sadly, his views were not shared by all and he met his martyrdom in Amiens, France where he was beheaded. Pamplona locals have since honored him with his own festival. Festival go-ers dress traditional white, with a red bandanna and red sash in memory of the blood shed by the Saint.
