Rye Beach Playland (also called simply Playland) in New York State is just a 30 minute drive from the city and worth every mile for the adventure that awaits you! Picture yourself on an old wooden roller coaster slowly inching toward the apex, as you are encased in the dragons belly then suddenly you are hurled downward and free at an exhilarating tummy tickling speed. Playland also has the very latest in newer steel constructed roller coaster called “Superflight”. The attractions are many and for all ages.
